A classic Icelandic favourite, milk bar paired with a liquorice in bite sized pieces.
Legend states that when kids in the 60's went to the candy store they would buy one classic Nói milk chocolate bar and one liquorice ribbon and eat them together. Picking up on the trend Nói started packaging the set and selling together as "One Set" or "Eitt Sett"! As the years passed the manufacturer decided to try this mixture in handy bite size pieces, voila!
The combo is probably one of the most Icelandic candy trends of all time, and for good reason. The sweetness of the rich chocolate perfectly balances out the sharp liquorice taste making an ideal lil’ bite.
Ingredients:
Milk chocolate 62% (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier (soya lecithin), bourbon vanilla. Cocoa dry solids min. 33%), liquorice 38% (wheat flour (gluten), sugar, glucose syrup, invert sugar, liquorice extract, flavours, fully hydrogenated coconut fat, table salt, colour (E153), stabiliser (E471), coconut oil), glazing agent (E414, E904), glucose syrup, vegetable oils (coconut and rapeseed).
